Metapuzzle by Dave Savitt For each solution word, it is possible to change one letter and then anagram to get the name of a multinational corporation. Each corporation can be associated to one of the pictures, which contains a product of the corporation. The letters which are changed in the answer words spell REED CANYON. Each picture has a letter next to it. Apply the inverse of the letter shift to that letter, of the letter shift which gives the letter change from the answer word to the corporation. The resulting letters spell FISH LADDER. The answer to the hunt is hidden at the REED CANYON FISH LADDER. Notice that the REED CANYON portion of the metapuzzle is theoretically possible to solve without using the picture associations, but brutally hard that way -- that's why the original hunt lasted four days!!
