You fill in the grid as a criss-cross, starting at the squares the
house the Maine cities whose names match the puzzles (latitude and
longitude info is easily googled, and I checked on two different
sites). Doing so gives this grid:
Intersections, in yellow, spell out LOOK IN AREY V.
On confirming the answer "LOOKINAREYV" to the metapuzzle teams were
told "Look behind the left blackboard, and start at flagpole east."
Taped to the back of the left blackboard in Arey 5 was an envelope
containing copies of the following puzzle; counting characters at the
plaque located at the answer to (a), beginning at the eastside of the
flagpole, gives the following:
1. (a) CHURCH
(b) SCHEDULE
2. (a) LJOYSTEPS
(b) IS
3. (a) COTTERCOURTYARD
(b) BEHIND
4. (a) MILLERSTEPS
(b) THE
5. (a) LEONARD
(b) FACES
The conflict-free schedule
(pdf) was found taped to the back of the faceboard
in the Leonard, conveniently right at Hunt HQ.
