Kevin and the mentors wanted to learn foodtongue so that they could listen in on campers. Alfonso offered to teach a class. The following is a record of how they entered the classroom.

- Asilata was the first to walk in, and sat down in the back row.
- Chris was scared of Asilata, so he decided to sit two rows up and one seat to the left of her.
- Don didn't want Alfonso to notice him, so he sat down right behind Chris.
- Jeff wanted to make sure he could practice his foodtongue during class, so he sat both vertically and horizontally adjacent to people already there.
- Kevin loves taking classes from Alfonso, so he sat in the front row. He's also very polite, so he didn't block anyone's view by sitting in their column.
- Misha sat both in an empty row and an empty column.
- Nancy chose a row that was empty when she walked in. She sat two seats in front of Jeff.
- Pesto already knows food tongue, but Alfonso made him come anyway. He sat behind Misha, with no one in the two seats to his left.
- Ruthi wanted to beat Asilata to the dining hall, so she also sat in the back row, to Asilata's right, but not next to her.
- Sachi sat behind Kevin, and right next to Jeff.
- Sam walked around, and decided to sit as far left as anyone was already sitting so far. He didn't want to seem too eager, so he sat right in front of the furthest forward person already in his column.
- Steve would have sat in Misha's row, but Steve and Misha are fighting. Instead, he sat next to Kevin, in front of Asilata.
- Tim! likes to sit on the left or right edge of the classroom. When he walked in last, he sat on the edge that already had people in it. There were two people behind him and one in front of him; he gave them all high fives.
Of course, all staff look alike to Alfonso. He just knew which seats were occupied.
