The Largest JC-Made Hall of Mirrors Lying on Southern Colby Campus

You're turning into a penguin. Stop it.

The JCs made a hall of mirrors. They added 8 mirrors to a 5-by-5 room, one at a time. Mirrors were all placed at 45° angles relative to the room. After each new mirror, every JC took a place directly outside the room, looked straight into the room, and saw another JC (possibly reflected through some number of mirrors).

Some of them were carrying laser pointers; those JCs shone their laser pointers along their line of vision, but the others could still see even without them. They also gave you the following statements about their experiences, with one catch: JCs with laser pointers always told the truth, while JCs without laser pointers always lied. Now: show me the light.

Here is an example of how mirrors work. Jeff can see Sachi, Sachi can see Jeff, Yuval can see David and David can see Yuval.
