There I was, sitting in a Peruvian club with three people I had just met. I raised my hand and I immediately noticed the man and woman in charge of the club pop up. The four of us proceeded to place our orders, going along the menu until we were all satisfied. During the meal, there were a variety of magicians there for our entertainment, but Pepito and I were in agreement: the only trick we liked was the one performed by the man in charge. In retrospect, there was nothing we could have done to make the tricks any better.
Later I realized, that other than the couple in charge, who were staring me in the face until the very end, I couldn't remember where the rest of the members of the club had been. Thankfully, as always, I had written down everything I needed to jog my memory:
